Job Title: CNC Operator
Exempt / Nonexempt: Nonexempt
Reports To: Cell Manager

Scope: Operate CNC (computer controlled) equipment to machine work pieces to blueprint
instructions and operations router.

Special Skills / Training: Employee must have thorough knowledge of blue print reading, precision
measurement, and using micrometers. Machine specific training is required, with a supervised
training period at the machine commensurate with the individual's skill level as determined jointly
with the Cell Manager.

Physical Requirements: Standing for extended periods of time, lifting to 40 lbs, frequent bending and
stooping

Responsibilities: (list of major areas of accountability) The CNC operator is expected to be capable of
independent work, preparing the machine, executing the program instructions, verifying the program's
conformance to the blue print. The operator is also responsible for routine maintenance and housekeeping
of the work area.
